The Black Family and Black marriage is under attack.

Over the past few decades, there has been a significant decline in black marriage in America. According to data from the U.S. Census Bureau, in 1970, 61% of black adults were married, but by 2019, that number had dropped to just 31%. This is in stark contrast to white adults, whose marriage rates have remained relatively stable over the same time period.

There are several factors that contribute to this decline in black marriage rates. One of the most significant is the growing economic inequality between black and white Americans. Black Americans are more likely to experience poverty and unemployment, which can make it harder for them to establish stable relationships and marriages. Additionally, there are cultural factors at play, such as the increasing acceptance of non-traditional family structures and the decline in religious affiliation among black Americans. These factors, combined with systemic racism and discrimination, have created significant challenges for black individuals and couples seeking to form and maintain healthy, stable marriages.

The Connect Perfectly Foundation is here to help restore these relationships and bring people who are seeking to engage in relationships or strengthen their current relationships together is a safe and nurturing environment

Men's Inner Circle Black men face unique challenges in society, including systemic racism, discrimination, and societal expectations of masculinity. These challenges can lead to increased levels of stress, anxiety, and depression. Support groups can provide a safe and supportive environment for black men to share their experiences and receive validation from others who understand their struggles. This sense of community can help to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness, improve mental health outcomes, and build resilience.

In addition, support groups can provide opportunities for black men to connect with others who have similar goals and interests, share resources and information, and learn new skills. This can promote personal growth and development, as well as create a sense of empowerment and self-efficacy.

Support groups can also serve as a platform for advocacy and social change. By coming together and sharing their experiences, black men can raise awareness about issues affecting their community, work to dismantle systemic barriers, and advocate for policies and programs that promote equity and justice.

Overall, support groups for black men can provide a range of benefits, including improved mental health, personal growth and development, and advocacy for social change. By recognizing and addressing the unique challenges that black men face, we can work towards creating a more equitable and just society for all.
